The Wrath... by tnperkins The Wrath... by tnperkins
Here be a bit of the Fan Art for my love of the cartoon "Batman: Brave and the Bold" featuring a character that shall never in fact appear, I would bet. I did this as I took a break over the weekend from working on "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes"

...Also, in truth, I did this as a gift for the illustrious podcaster, Matthew Peterson of The Major Spoilers Podcast ( [link] ) . He was telling me how much he would enjoy seeing The Wrath appear in that show... SO I took it upon myself the take a shot at making that vision come true. I figure those guys over there have provided me with countless hours of podcast enjoyment, so what the heck. Go check them out why don't you. :D

Cheers.

Love the Wrath! Too bad B&B didn't go another season, this would have been a perfect tale to adapt!

I remember when I first saw The Wrath. It was in a 1985 trade paperback (digest sized) called "The Year's Best Batman Stories" and they had this story called "The Player on the Other Side" which introduced the Wrath and his origins (which, in this version, a cop named Gordon was somehow involved with his father's death which helped explained the Wrath's fixation on killing Commissioner Gordon).

I was a little kid at the time...but dammit...that was still one of the best stories I've read.

Unfortunately, they had The Wrath show up in the really sad (I know, that's just my opinion) series "The Batman" and even gave him an annoying little sidekick called Scorn.
